I didn't sleep a wink last night! Why...oh why??! My daily routine has been altered...my perfect, perfect lifestyle has totally changed!!!

It all began when we first arrived here in London. The jet lag of course. It altered my perfect bedtime. But after 2 or 3 days, it wore off and things went back to normal. Then again a few weeks ago when I stayed up watching my darling hubby playing a game the gods of war or war of gods (something like that...but who cares) til dawn. But again, a few days later I'm back to normal.

A few nights ago, though, thanks to my hubby again who introduced me to Sindarela which we saw together on the tv3 website til DAWN again, and I ended up waking up real late. The night after, I couldn't sleep til after dawn, this went on and on for days and of course led to my waking up late which means I skipped lunch which means I have not only altered my sleeping time but my eating time which is not good coz its a MAJOR CHANGE IN MY PERFECT LIFESTYLE!!!

...which may well lead to obesity and aggravate my gastrisis and develop eye bags and scaly skin and pimples and green ears and a pinocchio nose and webbed feet and the list goes on...

You see, during my last life (the perfect one, the one that started after I quit my job) everything was wonderful. I got enough sleep (enough sleep = 11 hours per day...and no, tak pening langsung), I exercised regularly, I ate on time, twice a day to be exact - lunch and dinner, with no snacks in between - I never had breakfast for the sake of slimming down, and besides, I never had the chance to coz I only woke up around midnoon. Eating on time helps avoid hunger pangs and I ate rice every meal. Contrary to popular belief, my experience tells me eating rice makes you feel more full throughout the day, hence you tend to eat less of everything else. And cut down on any fancy drinks, plain water is best and with no calories too. And let me tell you, it worked! I lost 5kg the first month and another 2-3kg the following months. And, the eating on time also helped my bad case of gastrisis too.

I was happy, healthy and much slimmer, living the perfect life. No work, just play. Almost as perfect as Gaby Solis' except I didn't have as much money to spend on clutch bags and heels and spas and salons like she did...Oh well, who cares...I was still living the perfect lifestyle which I'm sure everyone envied...

But whats happened to it NOW? I didn't sleep a WINK last night. Try as I might but I just couldn't. Maybe Mr. Sandman forgot all about me. Or maybe he spilt my sleepy dust in the sink in the kitchen of my flat (its so dirty, cleaner didn't come). Im facing the monitor now at 8:00 am typing with these scaly ikan kerapu looking fingers coz the air is so dry. I wake up at 3pm everyday and naturally skipping lunch. I don't ever exercise coz its so cold. I snack on them Tesco chocolate chip soft cookies every night. (They're the yummiest!!! Better than Famous Amos, I must say!) Im drinking Pepsi twice a week, something I would only drink once in 2 months back home then. I'm constantly thinking of nothing else but food, partly because Im getting better at being a cook now (honest! I've even created my own recipe of something. and hubby thinks my dishes are great! ye ke?) but mostly, because...well, my new topsy turvy life of course.

What else? Oh yeah, Im also stuck with the dreaded 3 years of doing research on some law thingi (yes, Im calling it a law thingi from now on. How sad. Im referring to my thesis) of which I still haven't figured a topic.

Helllppp!!! I'm falling into ruins!

What a change of lifestyle.

Goodbye Gaby Solis. I'm nowhere close to being you anymore.
