TRIP TO KIDZANIA

Been so long we wanted to bring Amru and Wafa to Kidzania. Since last Thursday dah pergi tapi tak jadi (refer last post) so this time Sunday pon Sunday lah. Although they say Sunday paling tak ramai so that should be good.

Since we already bought tickets, the queue was not long. The kids got checks worth 50 Kidzos each. Once we got inside, we searched for CIMB where the kids cashed their cheques. wahh macam grown ups dah pergi bank and all. Ok, mak mereka yang jakun. They were so excited dapat 50 Kidzos. Macam hari raya plak. 

Like seriously, we didn't know where to start or where to go first. But the first place that we saw was the Police Station. Waiting time was 20 minutes (most others pon 20 minutes). The kids were so excited. You see, everytime they work (in this case as policemen at the police station), they get paid. In Kidzos of course. So happy gile la budak2 ni. Materialistic sungguh.

But the moment they went in, start menitiskan airmata. Aduhhh! They probably thought kena masuk situ sebab polis tangkap kot. Masuk jail hahaha. Tak paham konsep.

But Aiman gave them a father to son to daughter pep talk, baru la nampak ceria okay sikit. Pastu we saw they all marched out of the police station carrying cones.

Tengok lah, ceria kan?

Cute tak this police officer bapak dia temankan dia bertugas.

Ohhh rupa2nya there was a fire at the Hotel. So tugas polis tak bagi the public masuk kat tempat fire.

After that march balik ke police station. When they got their 'salary', 7 Kidzos tu, face lit up again. Hilangnya konsep kerja kerana ikhlas haha.

After that, working for the newspaper. Tugas: deliver newspaper. Susah gila kot budak besar tu you expect pandai read the map to find the stores they need to deliver the papers. Aku mak budak pon pening.

Done with that, earned their pay. They soon tried the Stabilo shop as junior designers. Came out with their pay and these paper plate merdeka hats.

Pastu I practically forced them to the Magician place by bribing them with popcorn.

Ooh...this one has the highest pay (look whose talking. Mak budak rupanya yang materialistic) 10 Kidzos tu. But you gotta do your magic trick on stage in front of a whole audience. Wah, something to boost my kids self esteem. I like!

So after all the taklimat and change into their magician clothes, we were sooooo excited with our cameras and camera phones ready at the theatre. Front row middle seats lagi tu. I would have clapped my hands off if I were not holding the camera taking videos of my kids doing their magic show.

So proud of them. 

After magic show, you can guess we were all hungry. Amru was upset coz Aiman finished all the popcorn. Coz popcorn is the best snack for people on diet, that's why he finished it all. Went to get another popcorn, fries, nuggets, nasi with ayam kicap. Best thing is all the food semua kid friendly food. Tapi mahal gila kot. Takpe la perut lapar.

By the time we finished, dah pukul 2 petang. Orang ramai gila. Ikut hati nak je make the kids go do the fun stuff, like try the AirAsia aeroplane place, or the cashier at the supermarket, or the salon, and the fire station. But the wait...aarghh....lebih kurang setengah jam jugak nak tunggu each one. Tu pon dah kira cepat, kalau hari lain lagi ramai and lagi lama. The kids were restless and wanted to go home. They were happy sangat dah pon coz collected alot of Kidzos. Told you money is everything.

So we went home. The end of a wonderful day with the kids. Esok bangun pagi pergi sekolah ye!

Open everyday except Monday. They say go on Sunday because paling tak ramai orang.

Weekdays ramai coz banyak rombongan sekolah.

Beli tiket awal2 (online ke), so you don't have to queue for tickets.

Come early. Like 10 am so tak payah queue lama. Go to the popular ones first like fire station, police station, aeroplane, McDonalds coz once orang dah ramai lamaaa lah korang kena tunggu.

Personally, I think this place is more suitable for older kids . My kids are 5 and 6 and I think they would enjoy it more if we came in a couple more years. Siap ada Parent Lounge kat Upper Level. So you can probably just lepak there while your kids went to work.
