I'm paranoid. My father says I'm like my late grandmother; she was obsessed with staying young as well. But at that time, with so little research being done, nobody knew exactly what it takes to look young. But now we do.
4 things I do (or at least I try to do) -which is worth my time and money- to stay young:
1) Get loads of sleep. I sleep at least 10 hours a day :p (Jangan jeles).
2) Take antioxidants. I take at least 1 vitamin E tablet a day. I heard that tocotrienols are better than tocopherols, but not as easy to get in pharmacies.
3) Use sunscreen religiously, like everytime you go out of the house. Especially people like me. My skin is super sensitive to the sun.
4) Exercise. You don't only want your face and skin to look young, your body has to stay young as well. You wouldn't want to sakit lutut lah, sakit itu lah ini lah...and when you walk, you wouldn't want your hips to make that 'ketuk ketak' sound.
All those other lotions and potions advertised on television tu...ntah lah, at the moment I'm not thinking of investing in them too much. But we'll see.
So, hopefully, one day when I'm 40 people will still ask me:
Adik tingkatan berapa sekarang?
Ahaha...dream on!
