Aaa..tensen nyeee...aku beli sepasang kasut boot kulit second hand kat one of the markets kat Bangkok hari tuh, cantek...dah balik ke sini baru terpikir nak check jenis kulit tuh kulit apa.
And then...ta-da!!!! ada bintik2 tiga bijik duk dekat2 kat sebelah dalam leather tuh.
You know what that means??? It's kulit babi!!!! AAAArghhhhhh....I thought I got a good bargain, and memang good bargain pon, but its kulit babi!!!!
Then aku pikir2 balik, barang apa lg yg made of kulit yg aku beli kat Bangkok...oh ya, sarung tangan yg aku plan nak pakai kat London nanti...aku belek2 sarung tangan tuh, nampak suspicious, but I'm not sure. Ingat nak bawak ke lab kat uia ni, diorg boleh detect, tp cam tak berbaloi lah pulak sbb harga gloves tuh takde la mahal sangat.
You see, kat Thailand, diorg tak kisah, kulit babi ke kulit kerbau ke kulit gorilla ke sama je...they don't care. Lainlah kalau kat Malaysia, strict sikit, kalau kulit babi diorg akan labelkan sbg kulit babi. Lagipon, babi teramatlah banyak kat sana and so kulit babi is very murah. So most likely barangan kulit kat Thailand is kulit babi. Kalau kulit lembu sure harga dia cam mahal sikit.
So to all my Muslim friends out there, kalau nak shopping kat Thailand, better takyah la beli barang kulit, beli je lah kat Mesia nih, mahal sikit pon takpe so that korang tak sedih macam aku.
I found a useful guide pasal pigskin ni, and for those yg nak beli shoes kat UK, Clarks, Marks and Spencers or Hush Puppies, there is some response from the Customer Service, and a list of their shoes which have pigskin:

areej, kena samak tak tangan n kaki kalau dah pakai kasut tu ? tapi at that time wearing that shuz, kulit tu tak sah lagi kata kulit babi.. still kena samak gak eh? help..
